Income Tax raids RK Marbles at its four main locations in Udaipur,Rajasthan and seized all documents pertaining to export and trade after receiving the complaint of tax evasion by the reputed marble firms owner's Vimal Patni and Ashok Patni. Apart from these other 50 locations are yet to be traced including Rajsamand, Rajasthan.
RK Marble started with a warehousing facility in Kishangarh, Rajasthan. And in the next few years, the company expanded operations to other locations within the Rajasthan. Village Dharmeta, Morwad, Dariyawaad - Ocean Black, Banswara - Wonder Beige and in village Majoli - (MP) - Wonder Marble.
The company’s operations went global with the acquisition of mines in Vietnam and Turkey.
